Hi, I'm Aaron, a Security Analyst based in Vienna.

About Me

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Digital Communications from Hochschule Campus Wien.

Before transitioning into tech, I spent over 12 years in hospitality, where I developed strong communication and leadership skills. I now use that experience daily when communicating security findings to customers.

After graduating, I worked in IT Business Service Support for critical infrastructure, where I gained my first hands-on experience with ticket systems and structured IT processes.

Since January 2026, I have been working as a Security Analyst in a SOC at an MSSP. I handle alert triage and investigations end to end, write structured investigation notes in English, and communicate findings and recommendations directly to customers.

While my daily work is on the operational side, my growing focus is on the governance side of security, in particular standards like ISO 27001 and the NIS2 directive. I believe good security is as much about clear processes and communication as it is about technology.
